Game of Thrones season 6 finale is almost here and with it arrive the Winds of Winter. In the last episode, we saw Jon Snow and Sansa Stark defeating Ramsay, while across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys defeated the Masters and cemented an alliance with the Ironborn and now she will sail to Westeros. Things are going to get interesting in Westeros as there will be another fight for the Iron Throne, while the White Walkers come knocking on the doors of Westeros. The preview for the season 6 finale is out and we know that we will get to see Cersei and Loras’ trial in King’s Landing. In the North things are going to get intense between Davos and Melisandre, and Littlefinger is going to ask something from Sansa, and Daenerys and her friends seem to be pondering about her decision to sail to Westeros. We will also see the Lannisters and Freys celebrating in the Twins.
These were the things that were shown in the preview for the episode but we know that there will be many more things that will happen in the episode and we now know what we can expect as the list of actors who will make an appearance in the season 6 finale has been made public.
Game of Thrones fans might be surprised when the show returns to Dorne in the final episode. We had last seen the Sand Snakes in the season 6 premiere and the fans were not happy with the way the show had changed the Dorne story. In the episode, we are going to see Obara Sand, Nymeria Sand, Tyene Sand, Ellaria Sand and we are wondering what might happen in Dorne. All we know is that they have killed Doran Martell and now they might want revenge against the Lannisters.
This is where Lord Varys helps us in making a guess about what might happen. Lord Varys is going to appear in the episode and as we remember, in episode 8, he left Meereen as he needed to find some friends in Westeros. The Sand Snakes have the control of Dorne now and they want revenge. This seems to be a perfect match.
We are also going to see young Ned Stark and Howland Reed in the episode and it just means that Bran will follow Ned inside the Tower of Joy and see what actually happened to Lyanna Stark. This might be the scene where we get to know about Jon Snow’s parents and who knows, this insane fan theory might also turn out to be true.
We will also get to see the Night’s King and there’s also Bran and Benjen Stark, and Edd Tollett in the episode. So we are going to visit the Wall in the episode and if Bran crosses the Wall, there might be a possibility that the Wall might fall.
The Hound along with Thoros of Myr and Beric Dondarrion will be back in the episode and it might be possible that they come across Brienne of Tarth in the Riverlands. In the last episode, Brienne escaped from Riverrun and she still might be somewhere in the Riverlands, where the members of Brotherhood without Banners are present. If that happens, it will be interesting to see how the Hound reacts after seeing Brienne.
Another character who will be appearing in the episode is Euron Greyjoy. It might be possible that Euron has somehow managed to build 1000 ships but now that Daenerys has joined forces with Yara, we can’t say what will happen with Euron’s plot. Also, there might be a huge shock for the High Sparrow in King’s Landing. According to the interview given by Jonathan Pryce, who plays the role of High Sparrow on the show, Cersei is going to doing something which his character does not expect to happen. Does this mean we will see the downfall of the High Sparrow and is it related to the explosion of Wildfire, which we have seen in Bran’s vision?
Balerion, The Black Dread, might not show up in House of The Dragon
HBO just dropped the teaser trailer for Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon, and it broke the internet as soon as it was released. The highly anticipated prequel series has been HBO’s top priority for quite some time, and judging by the reaction of the fans that the teaser received, we can assume that they were right to do so. Though we witnessed several details about the upcoming show from the teaser, and of course the recent leaks, we didn’t get much information about the dragons, hardly any at all. But the teaser did give a slight hint about a certain dragon, Aegon The Conqueror’s famous ride Balerion the Black Dread might not be there in the series.
In the teaser, we captured a quick glance at what appears to be a dragon skull. Judging by the size of the skull, and the thousands of lit candles in front of it, we can assume it is the skull of Balerion, who was dead by the time of Dance of the Dragons in Fire and Blood novel.
The size of the skull is comparable, if not slightly bigger than the skull we have seen in Game of Thrones, stored in the Red Keep. Another fact that points towards Balerion’s absence is that HBO recently changed the description of House of The Dragon on their official website. Instead of the earlier synopsis that said the timeline of the show being set 300 years prior to Game of Thrones, it has now been changed to 200 years. Balerion died in 94 AC, when Viserys I Targaryen was still young and hadn’t ascended to the throne. Hence it is very unlikely the dreadful beast will make an appearance, given that the series mainly focuses on the civil war that began after Viserys’ death.

New House of The Dragon leaks might be showing the first look at Daemon Targaryen’s first wife
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is moving fast with its production, and we can expect a spring release in 2022. Most of the main characters have been cast, and HBO has officially declared who’s playing who in the much-awaited prequel. With set pictures leaking quite often on the internet, the fans are getting a glimpse of more cast members in action. Recently, another rather unknown member of the House of The Dragon cast came into the limelight, via a leaked picture from the Aldershot set posted by Portal House of The Dragon Brasil.

One of the most common theories about the cast member in question is that she’s playing Prince Daemon Targaryen’s first wife Rhea Royce. This is how the character’s wiki describes her:
“In 97 AC, Queen Alysanne Targaryen wed her grandson, Prince Daemon Targaryen, to Lady Rhea Royce, the heir to Runestone. Although the marriage was a fine, rich match, the marriage was not a success. Daemon found the Vale of Arryn little to his liking and grew bored. He soon developed a dislike for his wife, holding no love or affection toward Rhea, referring to her as his bronze bitch, a mocking reference to the ancient armour of the Royces. Rhea likewise had no love for Daemon, and they were soon estranged.”
Well, the armour certainly checks out, but other details about the character are currently under wraps. Who do you think the character from the recent leaks is? Tell us in the comments below!
Recent leaks from the set of House of The Dragon point at Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon’s wedding celebrations?
Filming for Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is moving very swiftly, as evident from the frequent leaks we’re witnessing with every passing day. Though HBO has been mum about revealing any more info about the show, these periodic leaks are causing waves of excitement amongst the fans, as they’re left wondering and speculating who’s who in the new set pictures. Here’s one of the theories we have been pondering about looking at the most recent leaks, the crew of House of The Dragon is gearing up for a tourney being held for Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon’s wedding celebrations.
There are plenty of factors that point towards the above conclusion. One, in the last few days, we have seen a few leaks showing a young Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon taking a walk together on a beach. Two, we recently had more pictures of Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen filming on set, one in Royal costume and the newest ones in Targaryen battle gear. Props for his dragon Caraxes were not spotted as well, and since he mostly rides Caraxes for a battle, it seems more than likely that he’s donning the armour for a tourney.
Also, there were pictures of a Targaryen camp being set up, close to the place where Daemon Targaryen was spotted in costume. There are not many soldiers in the view, so it doesn’t seem to be like a preparation for war.
However, one of the flaws to the theory is that in the book, the tourney was held at King’s Landing, while all the shots above have been taken close to a beach. Tell us about your theories in the comments below!
