All the visions we saw in the latest Game of Thrones episode, Blood of my Blood

Published

on

In the last Game of Thrones episode, The Door, we saw Bran going to Winterfell in one of his visions and things went south when the White Walkers attacked the cave of the Three-Eyed Raven. Bran had to warg into Hodor to protect everyone in the cave and we very well know what happened by the end of the episode. There was a massacre and we saw the deaths of the Three-Eyed Raven, Children of the Forest, Summer and Hodor. As the episode ended, Meera was pulling the sledge on which Bran was lying, still inside the vision.

The latest Game of Thrones episode, Blood of my Blood started from the same point. Meera was still running away from the Wights but she was tired and found it difficult to pull the sledge and Bran was still in his visions. However, this time the visions were completely different. Bran Stark was witnessing the history of Westeros and Essos too if you take into consideration Daenerys. The visions spanned from the time when he wasn’t born, to the present time at locations where he wasn’t present.

We got to see Jaime Lannister slaying the Mad King Aerys, Ned Stark’s execution, the Red Wedding, Hardhome, his fall from the tower, the birth of the dragons and lots more. We have gone ahead and collected all the visions in form of pictures as the video is too fast to see everything carefully and understand what we are watching.

George R. R. Martin shares a poem with fans on his 73rd birthday

George R. R. Martin is one of the most famous fantasy writers of present times. If not for him, we wouldn’t be having the amazing world of Game of Thrones, HBO’s fantasy epic based on his A Song of Ice and Fire novels. Though much of his fanbase has grown weary of him, for making them wait for the next book in the series ‘Winds of Winter’, he is still a coveted literary figure, and no one can deny his importance in the entertainment industry.

Martin turned 73 on Monday, September 20, 2021, and birthday wishes have been pouring in for the veteran writer. He shared a nice poem about getting old on his blog Not a Blog:

George R. R. Martin shares a poem with fans on his 73rd birthday

I grow old… I grow old…

I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.

Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?

I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.

I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.

I do not think that they will sing to me.

((with thanks to T.S. Eliot))”

It is true that Martin is getting old, and many fans are worried if he’ll ever get to finish his novels. However, it is also true that he has been promising fans he will deliver the much-awaited books, while he is still working on other projects. We can only hope he is true to his word.
