SPOILER ALERT! This post contains Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers. Proceed at your own risk!

Game of Thrones Season 7 will be the season where a lot of characters meet each other for the first time, and not all of those meetings will go as well as we would expect. The focus is largely on Daenerys Targaryen, who will finally be in reach of the Iron Throne. Now, from previous spoilers and official reveals like pictures and trailers, we know that Daenerys landing in Dragonstone will be the highlight of the beginning of Season 7, but a new spoiler run from Entertainment Weekly says that her arrival might not go smoothly.

Entertainment Weekly recently posted aspoiler round-upincluding spoilers for a lot of running shows. Game of Thrones was the first on the list. To quote the report :

“Well, everything is being kept tightly under wraps — seriously, most of the photos that have been released are actually just from the premiere, so don’t make assumptions about the whole season based on those alone. But I will say that Dany’s journey to Dragonstone won’t be easy given that Euron is out there looking for her, and you can expect at least one major character meet-up in the first hour.”

It looks like the first major encounter of Season 7 will be Daenerys Targaryen running into Euron Greyjoy. Now, we have seen a battle at sea in the Season 7 trailer, and it is shown to involve Euron, Theon and Yara Greyjoy. So there is a good chance that this happens in the first episode itself. Euron intersects Daenerys’ fleet at sea, and attacks the Greyjoy ship and maybe take someone hostage, is our best guess. Of course, it could happen in a whole different way, as well. For now, be rest assured that Daenerys will have at least some trouble from Euron while on the way to Dragonstone.
