Game of Thrones is on a delayed schedule this year, with Season 7 set to premiere on July 16th, which is much later than the usual timing. Now, while we wait for Season 7 to come, HBO seems to have outsourced the job of keeping the Game of Thrones fandom well fed, to Entertainment Weekly. EW has been posting a regular slew of Season 7 teases, like the first photos, to begin with. The latest to come from them is a brand new video showing the Stark kids talking about whom Ned Stark would have been most proud of. Read on!
As we had previously reported, EW’s latest issue will come with five different covers, a Stark special, featuring Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark). EW recently revealed a new video which had these five answer an important question : Who would Ned Stark be most proud of, if he were around? Watch the video, below :
Kit Harington stalled for a bit, saying Ned wouldn’t want to pick a favorite, but eventually said that he thinks that Ned would be proud of Arya the most, because she has “shown the most sort of tenacity.”
Sophie Turner seconded his statement. She said :
“I think he’d probably be most proud of Arya, just because he was always very very supportive of her doing what she wanted and going agains the grain and being an independent young girl.”
However, Sophie still would like Ned to be more proud of Sansa, and she said that she thinks that he actually would be. She revealed :
“I’m so biased and I think he’d be the most proud of Sansa, but I didn’t wanna say it because I don’t wanna offend anyone.”
Maisie Williams apparently thought the same. Explaining why it would be Sansa that Ned would be most proud of, she said :
“I think she’s…They’ve all made changes, but I think she’s made the most shocking change.”
Isaac Hempstead Wright, however, chose to remain fully diplomatic, saying :
“I don’t think Ned Stark would be proud of any one Stark over another. I think the Starks are their own unit and Ned would be proud of all of them.”
Who do you think Ned would be the most proud of? Tell us in the comments, down below!
