Game of Thrones is not only a TV show, but a global phenomenon, and a famous brand by now. Over the years we have seen a lot of other brands associate itself with with Game of Thrones, to try and use its popularity to promote a product, or the brand itself. The latest brand in question is none other than Major League Basketball (MLB). We had previously reported about New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard landing a cameo appearance on the show, following which, Major League Baseball, announced a major co-promotion campaign with Game of Thrones. The campaign is now starting to flourish. This time around, two MLB teams, the Detroit Tigers and the Arizona Diamondbacks, are hosting Game of Thrones theme nights!

It seems like one by one, the MLB teams are jumping onto the Game of Thrones bandwagon. First, the Chicago Red Sox announced this :

Now, according to a report by Click on Detroit, the Detroit Tigers are going to match this by hosting Game of Throne theme night on July 28th, at Comerica Park, on the match night against Houston Astros, and yes a bobblehead is involved! Some fans will get a bobblehead of Tigers right fielder J.D. Martinez sitting on the Iron Throne! Fans can get the the details for the same, and the tickets, over here!

In other news,¬†a new report by AZ Central¬†says that the Arizona Diamondbacks will have their Game of Thrones theme night on the 7th of July, on the game night with¬†Cincinnati Reds. The bobblehead for this one is quite a unique one, featuring¬†Diamondbacks pitcher Taijuan Walker,¬†as the Night King. It’s quite the show-stealer, if you ask us.
