Game of Thrones has had a brilliant cast over the runtime of the show, and it continues to add new cast members which are as brilliant. The show doesn’t mind killing off major characters, and being as that is, a lot of the cast members have a quick stint on the show, and move on to other projects, which almost always match the magnitude of Thrones. We recently reported how Natalie Dormer who played Margaery Tyrell on the show, has joined the voice cast of the video game, Mass Effect : Andromeda. Natalie has been in the news a lot, and she recently talked about how it is to die on Game of Thrones. Read on!
Natalie Dormer has been promoting Mass Effect: Andromeda lately, and she spoke to Mashable for a bit. Natalie played Margaery Tyrell, who was killed off by Cersei Lannister at the end of Season 6, along with a bunch of other characters. Being one of the latest victims of the show, Natalie had something to say on the topic. Check out the clip from Mashable, below :
“She went out with a bang, didn’t she? She went out with a bang…
..and you’ve got to give credit to Dan and David, the creators of the show — they just keep coming up with new ways of killing people.”
We agree. George R. R. Martin, the author of the books on which the show is based, wrote a ruthless universe, and showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have done everything to translate that ruthlessness onto the screen for fans like us to appreciate. We are pretty sure that some of us fans just wait to witness the deaths because the perfection with which they are executed on the show is almost artistic.
