Game of Thrones is currently filming Season 7 in Spain, and spoilers are all around. Season 6 left us with quite an after-taste, with a lot of things to look forward to in the next season. One of the most interesting things we saw was how Sansa Stark‘s character developed. She is now quite unlike the Sansa we used to know, back in the initial seasons. Sansa and Jon Snow returned to Winterfell at the end of Season 6, after a really long time. However, Winter is here, and so are a lot of other things, which means that the Stark reunion (barely) isn’t really something to celebrate, considering the imminent dangers. In an interview with EW, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), talked a little bit about what Season 7 might bring to Sansa.
“She’s seemingly in control for the first time – and it really suits her. She’s kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she’s also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds.”
It’s a no-brainer, really. Season 7 is pegged to be a total culmination of all forces, good and evil. The White Walkers are even stronger, Winter has arrived, Cersei is the Queen, Daenerys is finally making her move, along with her dragons, and more. From where Sansa is standing, so much could change, and considering the fact that she had to survive Joffrey and Ramsay Bolton, us saying this is not an understatement, at all. Sophie seems to be thinking along the same lines. Talking about Season 7, she said :
“What overall excites me about this season is that main characters are coming together and it feels like things are ramping up. It’s really exciting and all feels like it’s coming to a big conclusion.”
Well, that excites us, too! What do you think is going to happen to Sansa in season 7? Tell us in the comments, below!
