Game of Thrones had a successful run at the 2016 Emmy Awards, where it broke the Emmy record for most wins, which also included the best Drama Series award for the second year in a row and it seems that the show isn’t done yet. Game of Thrones has now received 5 nominations at the Critics’ Choice Awards and this time the actors have a good chance of winning an award after missing out on it during the Emmys.

The nominees for the awards have been announced and The People vs. O.J. Simpson leads the pack with 6 nominations, and Game of Thrones is right behind it with 5 nominations. Other notable shows which have received nominations are Stranger Things, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, House of Cards, Veep. HBO leads all the networks with 22 nominations.
