[SPOILER] Another actor joins Game of Thrones filming in Italica and The Mountain gets a new outfit
This is a pint-sized spoiler compared to the spoilers you’ll have received throughout the week. It is reckoned on that the ‘17 member‘ shoot at Italica is more than enough to convince any Game of Thrones fan that it is going to be the best episode by far, and now there is an addition to the cast. Seen last night on the streets of Seville with Rory McCann and Daniel Portman was Staz Nair who plays Qhono, last seen vowing to Daenerys in “The Book of the Stranger.”

The Dothraki bloodrider was introduced in season six, he was seen mocking the Mother of Dragons and later vowing to her. Qhono would be the shows go-to guy for all the Dothraki matters, very much like Rakharo in the first few seasons. In other words, we shouldn’t expect him to be a major part of the story line but when Danaerys needs someone to convey her orders to the Dothraki horde, she will likely talk to Qhono.
Things got a little more amusing as screen captures from Hafþór Björnsson‘s Snapchat surfaced. The screen captures which were shared by Game of Thrones fansite Watchers on the Wall, show Björnsson having his FrankenMountain makeup applied. Oh! and Ser Gregor is wearing new clothes.
This new outfit is obviously going to be covered by heavy Kingsguard armor. As the Mountain is going to vie with Queen Cersei the fabric of his outfit looks remarkably similar to what Cersei puts on at the end of season six. Its really unlikely for FrankenGregor to follow suit but such is the power of Queen Cersei!
