Characters and families were separated a lot throughout Game of Thrones, and in season 6, we saw some of them reuniting. This includes Tyrion Lannister meeting Theon Greyjoy, Jon Snow and Sansa Stark finally seeing each other. After the touching reunion of the Stark kids…or should we say one Stark and a Targaryen, we can surely expect some more of those in season 7 as the plot comes to a close. And since the stars of Game of Thrones love to tease us fans with some interesting stuff, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, gave a little something to Variety at the Emmys about character reunions next season.

Here’s what he said:

“We started seeing it in Season 6; characters that met in the first episode of Season 1 are now meeting again and you’re going to see that start happening more.”

Now since we have no books to help us out, all we can do is speculate away until season 7, so there are some possible reunions that might happen on Game of Thrones this time. Arya Stark, who has now set off for Westeros and was last seen in Riverrun taking the life of Walder Frey, might head off to Winterfell and meet Jon and Sansa. She could be followed by Bran Stark, who is headed south of the Wall, and we could finally see the remaining Stark family together. Since we’re talking about Arya, she could also run into Lady Melisandre, who has been banished from Winterfell. Arya could also end up meeting Gendry, who is set to return in season 7, or she could even see her Direwolf Nymeria.

There are too many possibilities of reunions on Game of Thrones, and until then, its speculation and theory galore for us fans. Let us know in the comments, who else you think might reunite in the next season.
