Sansa Stark might betray Jon Snow in Game of Thrones season 7

Sansa Stark made some kickass moves in Game of Thrones season 6 with her smartness and bringing Littlefinger to the battle in the North and what not, but when she wasn’t given even a smidge of the credit she deserved for practically saving Jon Snow’s life, it was obvious that she’d be a little bit repulsed by it. At the end of Game of Thrones season 6 episode 10, Winds of Winter, we saw Sansa and Littlefinger exchange a rather intense look that seemed to have triggered a potential betrayal by Sansa to Jon in future. It appears that she might just end up taking Littlefinger’s offer on ruling the Seven Kingdoms and not letting Jon and the North get away with what they’d done to her.

Since we can’t tell what will happen until we see it in season 7, there is nothing to be very sure of. However, HBO has apparently revealed a serious spoiler for season 7, and it seems that Sansa might betray Jon after all. On the recent election-themed website where fans get to vote for their favourite leader to sit on the Iron Throne, we saw the number of contenders on it, which included Daenerys Targaryen with Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow with Lyanna Mormont, Cersei Lannister with Qyburn, and Littlefinger with Sansa Stark.

Apparently Sansa might end up backing Littlefinger to rule the Seven Kingdoms, which seems to have driven us to a possible season 7 occurrence, or it could very well just be some good intention-bearing election fun. Since we can’t tell for sure, we’re only going to have to wait and see it in the next season which is set to come out later than usual.
