George R.R Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire is so vast a universe that the fantasy show Game of Thrones can hardly capture everything from the books. There is still so much that the fantasy drama has not managed to cover, simply because the books tell a number of stories that can never be incorporated in a 55 minute episode. It would take decades to cover up the entirety of the books in visual representation, but there are fans who take it upon themselves to make the most of the many interesting parts of the series.
There have already been a few fan made films spanning a few important events in the Game of Thrones universe, those that the show has not been able to create yet. And these fan made films are nothing short of brilliant. A new film on the block narrates the story of Brandon Stark, the dead brother of Ned Stark who never made it to the show since he was dead long before that. We know that Catelyn Tully was engaged to Brandon Stark before she married Ned Stark. Petyr Baelish, who was the ward of Catelyn’s father Hoster Tully, did not appreciate the fact that the love of his life got engaged to Brandon Stark, due to which, he challenged Brandon to a duel.
The fanmade film, titled The Wild Wolf, is based on this subject, and you can check out the trailer below:
