As the finale of Game of Thrones season 6 comes nearer, fans are afraid that some of our beloved characters might be killed. Nobody knows who will survive and who won’t, but according to whatVanity Fairhas revealed, some of the actors have renewed their contracts on Game of Thrones, and this might mean that they are safe for the next season and even the one after that.
Some of the main characters of the show had renewed their contracts back in 2014, earning $3 Million per season, and they did manage to survive until now, so if this news is to be believed, the same characters will now receive $5 Million. Based on this news, the following characters might be safe: Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). So these characters appear to be safe enough for the season finale, and might make it to season 8 after all.
Game of Thrones season 6 episode 10, ‘The Winds of Winter’ airs this Sunday on HBO at 9pm EST.
