It seems that Game of Thrones is finding it tough to keep the leaks under control. The latest Game of Thrones episode titled No One was leaked hours before it’s official airing schedule. With this, episode 8 has become the 2nd episode to be leaked online and 3rd if you count the accidental leak by HBO themselves.
The only good news for HBO in this scenario is that the episode was leaked online only 2 hours before the official timing and that reduces the impact of the leak to a certain extent. The episode was leaked on torrent sites in full HD and as of now there is no information regarding the source of the leak.
Few weeks back HBO was left red faced when HBO Nordic had accidentally released episode 5 one day in advance. in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland were surprised to see the episode available for viewing so early and the season premiere was also leaked and images from the episode were shared online. Many people had seen Melisandre’s reveal in advance because of the leaked images.
And that hasn’t been the only problem that HBO has faced this season. At the start of the season, there was a YouTube user who called himself Spanish Spoiler, who was leaking the plots of the upcoming episodes almost 2 days in advance!
The showrunners must not be happy with the current leak as they had taken lot of steps to ensure that no Game of Thrones episode was leaked this year. Sadly for them the leaks are still happening. We just hope that the last two episodes of the season are leak free.
