The latest Game of Thrones episode started with Arya taking refuge at Lady Crane’s house and the Hound going on a rampage, chopping off heads and brutally killing people. It’s weird but it kind of felt good to see some brutal violence in the show. And if chopping the head off a person wasn’t enough, we even got to see the Mountain ripping the head off a sparrow! Now that’s how you start an exciting episode. I blame Game of Thrones for turning me into this!
There were lot of things happening in the episode. Bronn and Pod reunited after a long time and so did Brienne and Jaime Lannister. Tyrion, Missandei and Grey Worm were cracking jokes when the Masters started the attack on Meereen. Jaime somehow managed to convince Edmure to giveup Riverrun after Brienne failed in her mission. The biggest shock of the episode must be the royal decree which banned Trial by Combat! That means there won’t be any Cleganebowl now and that sucks. In the end, the Hound met the Brotherhood Without Banners and hanged people and Arya finally killed the Waif and is now headed to Westeros.
Overall it was a good episode and now we have the preview of Game of Thrones season 6 episode 9, Battle of the Bastards. Considering how important the battle in the North is going to be, the trailer focused only on Jon Snow and the battle and it gave me goosebumps. Take a look at the preview of the episode below.
