Season six has already been speculated and re-speculated over a period of last one year. But then recently, Game of Thrones season 6 premiere episode title and synopsis were revealed and we are now sure about few things (only few).

First of all, the name of episode one is Red Priestess. This clearly implies that episode one will be centered around Melisandre. Carice Van Houton has already spoken about her character said that her role will be same but a more vulnerable and different side of hers will be showcased. Furthermore, the official synopsis that was released by HBO says:

Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.

This doesn’t really tell us anything apart from the fact that Daenerys will meet some strong character on the show. At the moment we don’t know who it might be, but it’s possible that HBO is talking about Khal Jhaqo. But fans around the world will continue to speculate that Red Priestess will try to resurrect Jon Snow (which she must) since according to the synopsis Jon Snow is dead and according to the name of the first episode, its going to be about Red Priestess to a large extent. Thus, hopefully Melisandre will at least make an effort to revive Snow.

Though, in the past, Kit Harington has already expressed his amusement about how happy it will make him when fans finally watch the show and realize that Jon Snow is actually dead and he was right throughout (Prays that its not true).

Also, HBO also revealed the full season synopsis and its equally useless in providing any information about what will actually happen.

‘Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.’

Can April 24 come already so that we can figure out everything on our own?
