Game of Thrones season 7 began with a bang. Not only was the premiere episode the best thing to happen to the world, the following episodes weren’t far behind. Each was more intense and unbelievable than the previous, and we’ve all been left mind blown since. Of course the viewer ratings broke some records. The latest episode titled Beyond the Wall achieved 10.2 million live viewers, following right after the previous episode ‘Eastwatch’.
Beyond the Wall was leaked before it’s official release, just like episode 4 ‘The Spoils of War‘, but both these episodes received equally explosive live viewership ratings. Although HBO has been facing a lot of security breaches this season of Game of Thrones, none of that has stopped the record breaking live views and ratings from coming through. Hackers have threatened to leak the finale episode of season 7 ahead of it’s release, but we’re sure even that wouldn’t stop the show from gaining that many more views.
Since this season has been full of shocks and surprises, certainly the finale episode titled The Dragon and the Wolf might end up breaking viewership records yet again.
Game of Thrones season 7 finale airs this Sunday at 9 pm on HBO.
