As most of you already know, HBO is facing a massive leak right now, with a bunch of hackers claiming to have stolen a lot of sensitive data, 1.5TB worth of it, and they are threatening HBO to pay them $7 million, to avoid it getting leaked. The episode seems to be one of the documents that the hackers shared recently with The Hollywood Reporter, like we had recently reported. There hasn’t been a further update from HBO about the leak, nor from the hackers, but judging by the approach that the hackers took in their video letter to Richard Plepler, the CEO of HBO, we think they might start unloading the material one by one, if not paid off.
