Game of Thrones has a ton of characters, but only a few remain now, and every single one of them is important. One of the characters that has survived for a long time despite having quite a few scares of death, is the Onion Knight, Ser Davos Seaworth. Having gone from being an advisor to Stannis Baratheon to being one to Jon Snow, he has been around a lot. However before all of that, we know that he was a smuggler, and that might come in handy for him, in helping Daenerys get an edge over the Lannisters. Read on!

As you know, Daenerys Targaryen sent her Unsullied army to Casterly Rock, the Lannisters’ castle. They managed to take the castle, but Euron Greyjoy destroyed their ships, forcing them to be confined to the area, and without any food, as Jaime Lannister told Olenna Tyrell after he captured Highgarden:

“”They won’t be able to hold it. Euron Greyjoy’s navy burned their ships. We emptied the larders before we left. Eventually they’ll be forced to abandon their position and march all the way across Westeros.”

Redditor BrownGuy98 now theorizes that Davos might put his good old smuggling talents to use, to get some food to the Unsullied, to help Daenerys out. He explained :

“As we all know, the Unsullied attacked casterly rock only to find it mostly empty with no food. And with Euron destroying their fleet, they are left with no food and no way to return via ship. In order to prevent any food from reaching them, the Greyjoys will most likely have a blockade around the Rock. The only way they can get food is if someone was to smuggle it on a ship. Lets go a few decades back to Robert’s Rebellion when Stannis was trapped on Storm’s End and was being starved out due to a blockade. Who smuggled food to help Stannis? Ser Davos. Where is Davos right now? On Dragonstone, with Daenerys. In order to help relations between Jon and Dany, he may offer to help smuggle food to the Unsullied when word reaches Dragonstone.”

Seems fully possible. What do you think? Will Ser Davos come to the rescue and save the day like this theory says? Or will he play some other role? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
